                     KOREAN DRAMA REVIEWS: Intro Page

I first began watching Korean dramas in early 2010. Our local digital broadcast station W.C.V.E. 23.3 became our carrier of the MHZ Worldview Network the previous year. It was an awesome station to begin with, but, when they started putting K-Dramas on their schedule...I was in love!!! They started off with Someday and Alone In Love and ran those from Winter through late Spring. Once those finished their run they broadcast a month's worth of Korean movies. (That was pretty cool too.) They then proceeded on to two more shows - The Grand Chef and I Love You. Yep, 2010 was the year I found yet another thing to be obsessed with. I've since collected the box sets for all those mentioned series. I'm so bad.

What is it that I enjoy about them??? I will assume you're asking this. So I'll tell you based on that insane and completely unfounded assumption.
Ummmmmmmm...
I love pretty much everything about them. The acting is wonderful. The characters are well drawn and interesting. The music/soundtracks are great and amazingly appropriate. The writing, direction, cinematography, production values, etc. are usually top notch. So far the ones I've watched have impressed me in every way required. Can't get enough of them somehow. Their dramas move me (often to tears). Their comedies make me laugh. Their romances make me little heart go pitter-patter-flooble. They're  just, wow!  The other thing I've noticed is how long the effect of watching them lingers after an episode, or, even after the conclusion of the series. They run through my brain as I'm lying down to sleep at night and I even wake up thinking about them sometimes. It does almost sound like love don't it???? There's not much else that does that to me. Am I the only one??????

As I keep viewing and ultimately buying these shows, I'll try to review 'em as well,  just for you. Keep watching those nifty little subpages!!!!!!
